Welcome, friends!

I am so glad you’ve stopped by.  In the journal you’ll find entries of real weddings, design inspiration, planning tips, with a few personal posts along the way.  I’d love to hear any comments you have.

What do planners actually do?

Wedding planning is an exciting time full of decisions and choices, and also can be incredibly daunting. Hello, you’ve probably never planned a large-scale event for all of the special people in your life.  Maybe your Maid of Honor, Mom, or just your caterer’s questions has made you realize just how many decisions go into wedding planning.  What you really need is someone to guide you through the process, offer you options, and remind you that it’s all going to come together beautifully.

n. Planner. Definition: Also known as a guide, a ringmaster, and the one who will herd all of your guests from cocktail hour to dinner.

We get a lot of questions from brides! We thought we would compile some of the most popular.  These are a just a few of the many ways we love guiding couples throughout this amazing (rollercoaster of a) journey.

… How do I plan for the unexpected expenses and start to anticipate them?

… How do I bring together my Pinterest board into one cohesive look and feel?

… How do I select a vendor team that fits us as a couple and will be easy to work with?

… There are so many flowers out there! How do I know where to save and where to splurge?

… Where do I even start with choosing linens, tables, chairs? How do I create the look that I’m envisioning?  And make it work for my budget?

… Are the upgrades worth it?

… How do I possibly create a seating chart where everyone has a good time?

… What are the questions that I need to be asking at vendor meetings?

… How do I create the fabulous event that is in my head AND explain it to my vendors?

… What IS a walk-through anyways?

and the best question,

… How do I have fun in the process?  (That is TOTALLY possible, by the way!)

After all, it’s the questions that you don’t know to ask!
